Adrien Goldszal

Hi ! I’m currently a visiting researcher at ETH Zurich, where I recently completed my master’s thesis and am continuing my research. I’m a final year MSc student at Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL) specializing in machine learning, after having finished an engineering degree (Cycle Ingénieur) at Ecole Polytechnique, France, studying mathematics and computer science.

I’m passionate about leveraging machine learning for scientific discovery, at the interface of generative modelling, reinforcement learning and control, and applications to chemistry and biology. I notably had the chance to work at Mila under Prof. Pierre-Luc Bacon on novel approaches for molecular discovery for sustainable refrigerants and more recently at ETH under Prof. Andreas Krause on steering trans-dimensional 3D molecular generative models with RL.

Previously, I studied engineering as well as physics and chemistry in my preparatory classes at the Lycée Sainte Geneviève in Versailles for my undergraduate studies.
